
Born in 1984 in Eskisehir, Turkey. Lives and works in Istanbul.
Merve Tuna makes body-related objects varying from bespoke objects and props to designs for industry. Her work focuses on the distance between the ordinary and anomalies feeding from individual psychology, cinema and crafts. Developing narratives reflecting these interrelations; she generates accessories, garments and films.
